Our Mission Statement: “To Bring the Community Together Through the Game of Chess”

 

Bright Knights Chess Club was founded in 1999 with the vision of bringing the community together through the game of chess. We hope to achieve our mission statement by providing a free chess program that will eliminate the financial barriers for youth to pick up the sport and to create a community in which families from different backgrounds meet together through the game of chess. We focus primarily in developing our youth because we believe they are the future leaders of our organization and community. Our organization is currently focusing on servicing youth in the Northern California area.
